Details of the Citi Hilton Honors Card Application

Author: Beth Derkowitz

Do you want to know the details of the Citi Hilton Honors card application and related fees and information? Do you travel a lot? Do you stay at the Hilton often? If so, then you might benefit from the rewards of the Citi Hilton Honors Card. In addition to their honors program, this card also has many signature card benefits that you may enjoy.

The reward system of this card gives you two points for each dollar that you spend using the card on general purchases and three points when spending at Hilton Honors hotels. There are no limits on the number of points that you can earn and the points do not expire as long as you make at least one transaction or one stay at a Hilton per year. This gives you ample time to allow your points to pile up so you can redeem them for some of the best prizes and rewards.

What do you use the points for? Your points can be redeemed for free hotel stays at a Hilton, as well as other travel related rewards and benefits. You also receive 15,000 bonus points when you are a new cardholder after you make your first purchase (must make first purchase within 60 days of opening your account to get this bonus).

If you are approved for this card, you get one year of free membership into the Hilton HHonors Silver VIP program and there are many other benefits to the card that you can find out more about by visiting www.hiltonhonors.com. You have no annual fee, no pre sent spending limits and introductory rates that are low for both purchases and balance transfers.

The downside is that the interest rate for the Citi Hilton Honors Card is a bit high (for a reward card) after the introductory rate so this is not the best card for someone who will plan to carry a balance over on the card from month to month. There is also a minimum cap of 19.99% for cash advances which means no matter how low the Prime Rate falls, the interest rate will not go below that cap.
