3 Healthy Meal Suggestions at Wendy's

Author: Chris Baker

Many of us are trying to make healthier eating choices in our lives today. Unfortunately, our lifestyles often don't allow us time to plan and prepare healthy meals to take to our jobs. So, we resort to grabbing something quick. Fast food restaurants appeal to our on-the-go lives and are inexpensive meals. However they certainly don't appeal to our waistlines.

One fast restaurant that you can turn to for a healthier meal choice is Wendy's. Wendy's menu offers several delicious salad choices and several healthy-conscious sides. Although it may be hard to convince your stomach otherwise, there are alternatives to the fries and hamburgers.

If you find yourself in a pinch for lunch or dinner, consider one of these 3 suggestions for a healthier, protein-filled meal at Wendy's:

  • Meal Suggestion 1: Sour Cream & Chives Baked Potato and a Small Chili
    • Calories: 540
    • Fat (g): 10g
    • Protein: 26g
  • Meal Suggestion 2: Ultimate Chicken Grill Sandwich & a Side Salad with 1/2 packet Reduced Fat Ranch
    • Calories: 445
    • Fat (g): 11g
    • Protein: 33g
  • Meal Suggestion 3: Caesar Chicken Salad with no croutons and Reduced Fat Ranch (in place of Caesar dressing)
    • Calories: 280
    • Fat (g): 13g
    • Protein: 28g
