History of Tai Chi

There is a very ancient history of Chinese Movements system that associated with health and mental peace besides physical fitness. By all the contributions Tai Chi was born with commitments to keep the Homo sapiens healthy and peaceful life. The physical condition form of meditation is not enough for that reason different personality of ancient dynasties of China contributed endlessly towards the development of Tai Chi movements.

Initially, Chan San Feng invented the art of Tai Chi Chuan and then its continuities taken place by Chang Sung Chi. Tai Chi forms are made by Wang Chung Yuet and Chen Chou Tung for which they build the Southern School of Tai Chi and Chiang Fe build the Northern School. Cheng Yung Heng also invented the movements (forms) associated with Tai Chi. In 1771 Cheng Chang hsing continued the old school of Tai Chi then Chen Yau Pun founded a new school of Tai Chi Chen Gen Yur. Subsequently, Yang Lu-Chan became the founder of Yang School for Tai Chi.

It is worth to mention that a monk of the Wu Tang Monastery was the apocryphal founder of Tai Chi. Yin Yang created the fundamental "thirteen postures" of Tai Chi. Origin of Taoism is took place in sixteenth century BC.

Emperors of different dynasty like Fu Hsi Huang Ti., of legendry periods Lao Tzu and Chang Tzu of Han dynasty are contributed a lot for the development of Tai Chi. Feng and Wang Ching Yuch of Sung and Ming dynasty, Yang Lu Chan of Ching dynasty contributed a lot for the up gradation and to increase the popularity of the Forms of Tai Chi. In modern times Cheng-Mang Ching and Liang contributed and given their powerful efforts, for the up keeping of this ancient and glorious art of China. All the emperors are chronologically responsible for fundamental development of Tai Chi. It is not only an art of physical growth and mental piece but it is a culture of China as a whole. It is an excellent example of Chinese culture and heritage.
