Many folks who are staunch religious followers and very devout in this regard believe that God is causing Natural Disasters and is responsible for all the major disasters of 2004, 2005 and 2006. You see this because God is made at mankind for wars, decadence and self-indulgence. Recently, a young lady explained this concept of God causing Natural Disasters to me at length. So I asked her;

"So what you are saying is that you believe your "God" is coming to town soon and that he is upset because of the evil men and evil events perpetuated by humankind. And if I understand this correctly you of the belief that the Earth Events and Disasters happening starting with the Sumatra Quake and Indonesia Tsunami thru the events such as Cat Five Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Wilma and the Pakistan Quake are proof that we are in the "end of days? Is that what you are getting at here?"

Indeed as she nodded in the affirmative. And in doing so, one has to wonder if perhaps the religious leaders are allowing this type of belief to filtrate thru their groups and thus keep people in fear in order to better control the flock. In doing so they are unnecessarily scaring these followers and doing a disservice to the over all society and therefore something needs to be done in order to bring them back into reality and curtail these fear tactics for tithing. Think on this in 2005.
