The Future of Starwars

Author: Tim Allen

The huge epic movie Starwars is a favorite of Sci-Fi fans locally and abroad. It even reaches out to the audience that is not necessarily Sci-Fi addicted.

So after the first three episodes were produced 4-6 (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) more was still to come. This was even when we were under the impression that the movie trilogy was over. It wasn't.

Then came the story behind the mask of Darth Vader - Anakin Skywalker. This story was told to us with the prequels episodes 1-3. We learned how Anakin Skywalker was not really a bad guy from the start. He was deceived, tricked and lead astray by the evil sith Palpatine.

While Episodes 1-3 were being made and released we heard a similar cry of a finishing tale. "The last of the Starwars series was upon us." Is this true. Turns out it's not the last once again. Just another marketing campaign to make sure we get our fill of Starwars.

The Starwars tale is now making it's way to TV. At a recent Comic Con George Lucas announced that a action television show based on Starwars and the period after Revenge of the Sith would hit tv sets sometime in 2008.

That's not all either. Lucas announced that in 2007 we should expect a 3-D Starwars cartoon based during the Clone Wars period.

After that action TV show set to come in 2008 another rumored movie is said to hit the big screens once again. This time fast forwarding us past Return of the Jedi.

Are you a Starwars geek? If so you have reason for joy that the Starwars future is in tact.
