My beloved Pastor Benny Hinn of two-and-a-half years was instrumental in teaching me the Word of God, the ways of the Holy Spirit and how to move in the supernatural to bring heaven to earth. I in fact came to Christ through the 700 Club Christian broadcast on CBN, after which I immediately began attending Pastor Benny's church. That was January 1990.

Pastor Benny was teaching on the book of Revelation at that time. I was so amazed anyone even understood the book that I bought every tape, typed every word and learned the book of Revelation - all twenty-two chapters.

As Pastor Benny always says: "There are no meaningless details in the Bible." I therefore gave myself fully to understand the book of Revelation, which in so doing I learned the entire Bible backwards. To know the book of Revelation one must know the other books of the Bible in order to interpret scripture with scripture, "line upon line, precept upon precept." Here a little, there a little, I increasingly came to know the Word of God.

Pastor Benny having grown up in Jaffa (the place the apostle Peter was given a vision by God concerning the Gentiles) knows the ways of Israel very well. This again further makes him an extraordinary Bible teacher.

During the course of my time under Pastor Benny's teachings I attended a thirteen week Timothy class for youth endeavoring to enter the ministry. The instruction and impartation was life-changing. Not to mention Pastor Benny anointed all the youth who were faithful to fully attend all the sessions with oil and prayed personally over each of us.

When Pastor Benny prayed over me, he said: "You shall have an intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit and know the heart of God the Father, out of which shall come your ministry." These words though uttered in 1991 stick with me even today.

When Pastor Benny had the Miami crusade in 2006, I was able to say hello to him and Steve Brock. Pastor Benny was delighted to hear since graduating from his Timothy class that I have ministered in 40 countries and 6 continents of the world. He kindly signed my Bible and took a photograph with me, which I cherish as a reminder of my days with this great ambassador for Christ.

I highly urge every minister to get a mentor, a spiritual father, someone they can model in ministry and learn from. None of us are as strong as all of us. Wisdom and experience of years truly can save you from much hardship and difficulty, if you will simply manifest the necessary humility to hear what they are saying.
