If you have decided to build a home based business and to improve your finances then you need to realise the difference between the successful business and the business that doesnt even get off the ground.

So what is that difference man people would say its the expertise or the background of the business person. Some even would say its how much money you can throw at it. Others might say its the area that you are working in. There are all sorts of reasons that can be offered but the one that is missing is Your Own Thoughts

It is a fact that people brought up in families with very little money, will in many instances stay in that mode all of their lives. On the other hand, people brought up in families where money is not a problem; very rarely end up without any.

The difference between the two is that when you have no money its difficult to imagine being rich and as you are taught money doesnt bring happiness then why would you want to be rich and miserable. Rich people cant imagine what its like to be poor, and why would they want to be poor and miserable.

If you are wanting to build a home based business then its very likely that you either want to increase your wealth, or you just want another challenge. Either way you have to Change Your Thoughts.

Firstly take a blank piece of paper and write down all the things you would like to have. Is it a house, or a bigger house, a holiday, a new television, a new car, to pay off your debts etc?

Second take each thing and describe it in detail and as you describe it use all of your five senses to bring it into the now to make it real. So how big is the house, how many rooms, how big are the rooms, does it have a garden, how big is it, how many parking spaces, where is it, how much will it cost. Write it all down until you can see it in your minds eye. If that is difficult cut some pictures out of a magazine until you have the house of your dreams.

Thirdly imagine yourself walking into that house and have a look around, what does it feel like; smell like; what do the walls feel like when you touch them? Remember use all of your senses.

Fourthly, how long are you prepared to wait? set a target date for when you want it.

Fifthly, every day look at your list and imagine each thing on your list.

Every day that you do this you are bringing yourself a little closer to your goal.

Now when you build your business, you know that you are doing it for a reason, you have your list of goals and as they reach fruition because of your home business, you will be able to mark them off one by one.

Of course you can change your goals any time, but always remember to go through Steps 1 5 to bring these things into your life
