Author: Maha Dev

Find Denver, the capital of Colorado on the foothills of Rocky Mountains, which offers all the fun you will ever ask for from a major city, at lesser hassles. Denver is also the place where you find 300 days sunshine, endless shopping options, numerous restaurants to spoil your taste buds, never-ending charm of art and culture, exciting nightlife and year-round adventure with stunning Rocky Mountains as your backdrop.

The climate of Denver
Denver has a mild climate with 300 days of sunshine. Spring days are sunny that ends with some cool breeze in the evening. Winter days too can have warm sun, but not always. The temperature can range from below freezing point to 60 degrees. Contrary to popular belief, snowfall is infrequent here and disappears quickly. For evenings and beyond, it is always advisable to carry a layer or two of warm sweater clothing. Tie is necessary only for business get together.

Neighborhood of Denver
Apart from the endless shopping, dining, and entertainment options in Denver, the neighborhoods too offer an exciting experience. Berkeley Park, Highlands, Five Points, Old South Gaylord, Cherry Creek North, Old South Pearl Street etc are places where you can dig some hidden treasures like boutiques, spas, restaurants, monuments, churches, art galleries, coffee, Italian dishes'

The city population of 2.5 million is also a fine blend of multi-ethnic cultures. You will feel the diversity as you walk past a street, visit a few different restaurants, museums, and attend different cultural showcases like Oktoberfest, which is a grand celebration of German culture. You also may intimidated by the quaint neighborhood, which you may feel is not fitting for a major city.

Adventurous Denver
If you are looking for outdoor activities that test your nerves, Denver is the right place. Denver adventure opportunities include ballooning, paragliding, dirt bike rides, hiking, fly-fishing, skiing (in winter), rafting, and golf for less adventurous at places like Cherry Creek, South Metro DTC, West Metro, North Metro Boulder, etc.

Hotels and Restaurants of Denver
Denver has quite a few established business and family hotels and restaurants. Do take the hassle to check the dress code in advance. Restaurants serve all the yummy items that will make you feel want more. You will feel like coming back to this place again and again once you enjoy a few Italian dishes that they serve here.
